What to Expect at Fx Therapies.

  • 1. Phone Consultation

    Here our clients discuss their concerns with a licensed and certified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP). The SLP will collect information in order to make a plan to move forward with the evaluation. Your SLP may also refer you to other services (audiology, PT, OT, developmental pediatrician, pediatric dentist, ENT, orthodontist) in order to assess each individual as a whole.

  • 2. Evaluation

    The evaluation includes a comprehensive assessment that includes a detailed written report with background information, standardized and non-standardized assessment results, recommendations, and treatment goals, if warranted. We also offer second-opinion evaluations.

  • 3. Treatment Sessions

    Sessions are held weekly. Each session is tailored to the unique needs and personality of our clients, and incorporates evidence-based teaching strategies based on the evaluation and care plan. At the end of each session our clients receive a weekly plan until their next session for things to practice outside of the one on one session.

  • 4. Reviews & Re-Evals

    Our clients receive progress updates throughout therapy. Goals may be increased/discontinued if they have been mastered or altered in order to accommodate different areas of need. At the beginning of each 'treatment year' an annual evaluation is conducted in order to determine current levels of functioning.

  • 5. Discharge

    When our clients have mastered all goals and are demonstrating functional skills our clients will be discharged from services. Other reasons for discharge include client relocation, scheduling difficulties, etc. A final discharge summary and recommendations are provided if applicable.

Fx Therapies is Fee for Service.

Fx Therapies is a private-pay practice meaning it is based on a fee-for-service model.

​Accurate Diagnosis. We strive to provide a holistic assessment of each client based on medical diagnosis, training, and evidence and NOT determined through insurance company restrictions.

Increased Confidentiality. We take patient confidentiality extremely important! We want you to feel safe and that the services provided are confidential at all times. Trust leads to deeper relationships and more progress in reaching goals.

Control over Treatment. We determine each individual’s treatment plan based on a holistic evaluation and evidence rather than on what an insurance company deems appropriate without medically backed evidence.

Choice of Provider. You are allowed to choose your therapist without insurance companies telling you who you can and cannot choose. We cannot wait to work with you and/or your circle and family and allow our clients to become a FUNCTIONAL BREATHER, EATER, and COMMUNICATOR.

Credit, debit, and cash are accepted. Payment Is made through our patient portal.

After you submit payment to Fx Therapies, we will provide session notes that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
